Pembina River Tubing is OPEN for the Season and You can Make Reservations Now
Pembina River Tubing is open for the season as early as this weekend, and this year, it's back to the regular schedule where you can book tube rental only, full service including transportation or just parking at the site where you can carpool to get back to the original parking lot.
Here's what you should know before you visiting Pembina River Tubing:
- This year, all three options are again available for tubing on the river, including parking only, tubing only with a rental, o transportation back to the parking lot when your day of tubing has been finished.
- Make sure you bring water and sunscreen with you
- Heading out later in the season will extend the tubing experience, as the river is lower. Earlier in the season, the tubing experience is quicker, as the water moves faster. We prefer the mid-season, where it doesn't take too long to float down the river, but it's slow enough that even small children feel comfortable on the river. The average time that it takes to float down the river is about three hours, depending on the water levels.
- Tubing spots must be booked online, and a deposit of five dollars is paid at the time of booking. The booking fee is non-refundable, but it is transferable.
- To make it a fun, and cheap family activity in Edmonton this summer - you can bring your own tubes that can be used multiple times, on multiple river trips, through the summer and use the parking services, and carpool with friends at the end of the route.
