This Winter You Can Bring Your Kids to Eat in a Geodome at Riverside Bistro

The Courtyard Marriott's Riverside Bistro in Edmonton is a hidden gem. We've enjoyed their patio, and the views that come with it, often during the summer months with our kids. That hidden patio of a gem is even more exciting, with the launch of the igloos, or snow globes, on the patio, that create a new way to dine - outdoors, in the snow, with views of the River Valley, but from the warmth of your own personal igloo. Yes, the Igloos are heated, but it's still winter - dress warm! Layer up, and bring extra blankets to stay extra toasty through your dining experience.

MAKE A RESERVATION

Reservations are recommended for the patio snow globes, and can be made at five o'clock pm daily at the Courtyard by calling (780) 423-9999. Reservations are made for 1.5 hours at a time, and the Igloos are available until -10 degrees.Last year, there was no cost to reserve the igloos, but this year they are doing things a bit differently. This year, you can reserve for a $150 fee, and get a $100 food credit that can be used during your visit to the gorgeous dining experience. You can view the menu for Riverside Bistro, online, here. There is no dedicated kids menu for the Bistro, but you can ask your server about specific child-friendly off menu items including chicken fingers and fries, or pasta with marinara sauce.Don't forget about the parking. The best option for parking is the valet - hello, not having to walk to the parking lot. It's only five dollars, and compared to parking in the area, it's a steal.ENJOY!
